New York Plane Crash Update

It has been reported just two weeks before the Hudson, New York Airplane Accident that the identical US Airways plane had an in-flight emergency. Numerous passengers have come forward claiming that just weeks before the Hudson landing the plane experienced a major engine trouble. It was described as a loud bang.  The pilot, the same pilot who landed safely in the Hudson, was at the controls. He announced that the plane needed to return to LaGuardia for an emergency landing. However the pilot was able to correct the engine problem which was described as a compressor failure in flight and safely landed in North Carolina. It remains to be seen if this damaged the engine making it more vulnerable to the incident that led to the Hudson River Landing.
