Toyota Unintended Acceleration Deaths
Toyota is being held responsible for Unintended Acceleration Deaths despite their safety claims that â??the brakes always work and its electronic throttle system never failsâ??. In 2003-2004 there were eight reported deaths because of unintended acceleration. Toyota Camry and Lexus ES vehicles have been under investigation. To date according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration a total of 34 deaths have been connected with the failure of the brakes and electronic throttle system. Howard Raphaelson and Andrew Levine are experienced product liability lawyers who have been involved in several complex product liability lawsuits. Most recently, Mr. Raphaelson and Mr. Levine successfully completed a six year battle against a major automobile manufacturer. The lawsuit was brought on behalf of a child who was paralyzed during an automobile accident. The resources of the law firm were put to the test by this automobile giant. The law firms perseverance and resources led to a countrywide search to identify and retain multiple experts throughout the country in the areas of human factors, automobile manufacturing and biomechanics. Raphaelson and Levine fought this battle and won a multi-million dollar lawsuit that many legal experts believed could not be won. Raphaelson and Levine will never be dissuaded from handling a case that they believe in.
