$1.5M Fatal Pedestrian Injury
Our client was out for an evening walk, crossing a street a few blocks from home when a careless New York City Bus Driver struck and killed her. The bus driver failed to yield the right of way in the crosswalk and was issued a violation under New York City’s “Vision Zero” initiative to keep pedestrians safe. Partner, Howard Raphaelson personally tracked down the responding EMT and obtained critical testimony regarding his observation at the collision scene. Raphaelson litigated the matter in Kings Supreme Court and established that the bus driver was 100 percent at fault and recovered a $1.5 Million wrongful death settlement for the grieving family.
